Dear Ivan:

Today, Daddy had his first colonoscopy.  As I mentioned, a colonoscopy is like getting a telescope in your butt.  Regrettably, when you look through the lens, you don’t get to see stars.

The good news is that it’s over.  The bad news is that Daddy has now spent much of the day on the WebMD and has decided he needs to eat turmeric, onions, and broccoli to make his colon healthy.  So, it turns out, we’ve entered a new chapter where Daddy will not be much fun to be around after mealtime.

However, rest assured you can still eat cookies.  You’re only 6.  You have 44 years till someone sticks a telescope in your butt.  Enjoy those years.
