Exactly!! We are just a family that wants to be happy! My husband and I are an interracial couple with a blend family, one interracial child, and in the process of adopting two Caucasian siblings (I want able to conceive again after our son was born). I am African-American and my husband is Caucasian but we have such a diverse mix throughout our family tree that just about every race except for Asian is represented. We love the diversity but those on the outside try to put us in a box, I think, for their own comfort and understanding of their world. Thankfully there is no box that can contain our family!! 🙂
Thanks for your blog; my mother has shared it with me on s couple of occasions and I have you say that it is nice to connect with others who understand.
