This week, a special issue dedicated to dealing with Thanksgiving.

QUESTION: How can we explain Thanksgiving to our 2 year old?

ANSWER: Tell him it’s like daycare for adults — you spend a huge amount of time in one room with people who keep trying to take your stuff or talk over you, you argue over who’s right and wrong, there’s crying, there’s food, and there are naps.  And, then, just when you’re sick of everyone, you say goodbye and go home and all of a sudden everyone is sad to see the others leave.
