Thanksgiving And Giving Thanks

This year was the first year that our 2 year-old son, Ivan, was old enough to speak and, thus, was the first year that he was able to tell us what he was thankful for at Thanksgiving.  This is what he said he’s thankful for:

1. Mommy

2. Mommy

3. Mommy

4. Elmo

5. Daddy

6. Elmo

7. The Moon

8. Doggies

9. Old MacDonald

10. The nascent renaissance of the Progressive Movement in the last several years . . . and, cookies.

    I’m right there with you, Ivan, on almost everything…the Old MacDonald? not so much . I mean, seriously, e-i-e-i-o???? When your vocabulary gets a little bigger, you’ll dig what I’m telling you. Play hard, have fun, and grown up to be an amazing man. And give your dad a break sometimes. He’s doing the best he can. 😉
